This work is meant to symbolize the growing crisis of habitat loss and the fragile balance between wildlife and our natural world.
This work is meant to symbolize the growing crisis of habitat loss and the fragile balance between wildlife and our natural world.
The pale snake, woven tightly among dense vegetation, symbolizes species that are becoming increasingly vulnerable as ecosystems are disrupted by human activity. Its almost ghostlike appearance suggests fading and eventual disappearance, reminding viewers of animals pushed toward extinction through deforestation, pollution, and environmental destruction.
The surrounding plants create both a sense of beauty and entanglement, reflecting how nature is interconnected yet delicate. By placing the snake at the center of the composition, the artwork invites viewers to consider the silent struggle of wildlife and the urgent need to protect biodiversity before more species fade from existence.
🖌 Medium — Watercolor + Pen on Paper
