Synopsis:  “Buscando Alma” is about a transgender Honduran immigrant who was separated from her mother at the U.S. border as a small child. Twenty years later they have managed to find one another and will have the opportunity to reunite. Only since their separation, she has affirmed her female gender. If she presents as her true self, will her mother embrace her?
