Film Library
Film + Curriculum + Conversation
FOCUS on Impact provides San Diego high school and college teachers with year-round access to a curated collection of short films exploring timely social issues affecting our communities and our world.
Each film is selected from official San Diego International Film Festival programming and paired with a classroom-ready Teacher’s Guide and pre-recorded filmmaker Q&A — creating meaningful opportunities for dialogue, empathy, and critical thinking.

After participating in this program, 85% of students reported feeling more empathetic and informed.
