Synopsis: COLTER, a Marine wounded in Afghanistan, arrives at a V.A. hospital in Montana and meets IKE, a crusty Vietnam veteran who sees elements of himself in Colter’s self-destructive behavior. Ike begrudgingly agrees to teach Colter fly fishing, hoping it will help Colter deal with his physical and mental wounds. Their combined traumas and “survivor’s guilt” threaten to derail their healing process. But these men are fighters by trade. Just as an angler must correct his line when the current is pulling too hard, they battle to overcome their problems and pressures – finding peace while righting their pasts and presents.
