Chef Roberto Martinez is the long time head chef at Firehouse American Eatery in Pacific Beach. A native of Torreon Mexico, who has resided in San Diego for over 30 years, Martinez credits his culinary flair from his Mexican heritage and many years living and working on the coast. Chef Martinez began his career with SDCM Inc. in 2007 with the opening of the Firehouse. He has since become a key element in what makes Firehouse a Pacific Beach staple. Roberto is driven by his immense desire to give his guests that which they want and exactly what they need.
