Synopsis: After a suicide attempt, a young woman is admitted to a psych ward where she finds reprieve from the real world only to be released without a tangible way to move forward.
In a recent study, it was found that the post-discharge suicide rate was 100x higher than the global average.
With this film, we aren’t trying to “fix” anything. There is no easy fix here. It is a complex, grey issue. But we do want to open a conversation and help those who are struggling, or are watching someone struggle, to feel less alone. And maybe have a laugh or two along the way.
