STORIED STREETS | Spring 2020
Thank you for joining the Spring 2020 FOCUS On Impact Educational Film Program screening of the acclaimed documentary STORIED STREETS.
After the screening, a discussion led by San Diego International Film Festival CEO Tonya Mantooth with the filmmaker Thomas Morgan and former homeless student Giuseppe Pizano will take place. The discussion will provide interesting insights into filmmaking and the experience of being homeless.
You will receive an email with the following:
- Link to student pre-screening survey. Important! Please have students fill out, the survey is very brief and will take 1-3 minutes, they can use their phones.
- STORIED STREETS curriculum packet – written by the San Diego Unified School District VAPA teachers.
- Link to student post-screening survey. Important! Please have students fill out immediately after watching the film. The survey is very brief and will take 1-3 minutes, they can use their phones.
- Link to share with students to watch film. Students will need to login with their first & last names, student id#, school name, class name and teacher name. The link is not to be shared with friends or family members.
