ONLINE FILM SERIES
The Online Film Series is an opportunity to experience the San Diego International Film Festival at home. It’s the perfect antidote to Shelter-In-Place – six screenings of films not available anywhere else! The SD Intl Film Festival’s Online Film Series: Track 2 includes five screenings of films, shorts and documentaries PLUS the May 20 Film Insider Series Screening that will be announced soon! Many thanks to the filmmakers that have generously agreed to support the series by sharing their films.
How To Watch
The Online Film Series: Track 2 — is included at no additional charge as a benefit for Festival Patrons & Passholders (VIP Pass, Fest Pass or Film Insider Series).
You can also join the Festival’s Online Film Series: Track 2 for a minimum donation of $30 or buy a pass for the 2020 Festival. If you purchased Track 1 you must purchase a second donation to join track 2. Or think about gifting the series to a friend or family member!

Q. You are a Pass holder or made a donation but didn’t receive the link to view?
A. First, make sure you RSVP’d for the series through the link you received in your email. Didn’t receive the RSVP link? Try checking your spam or promotions folder. If you still can’t find the RSVP link try emailing: info@sdfilmfest.com so we can resend you the link. You must RSVP in order to receive the link to the film. This is to ensure that all attendees with the link are pass holders or made a donation.
Q. I RSVP’d but never received the link to view the film?
A. Email: info@sdfilmfest.com and they will resend you the link to your email. Each email has a unique screener link that only works for your email.
Q. When does the link expire to view the film?
A. You have from Wednesday at 3pm to Sunday at 11:30pm to view the film every week.
Q. I Received the film link but the film won’t play on my computer?
A. First, try an alternative browser. If that still doesn’t work then you can email us at: info@sdfilmfest.com to troubleshoot any issues. We will try to be available to you even after business hours during this time.
Q. How do I screen the film on my TV from my computer?
A. Most platforms have a way to stream from computer to TV through your Firestick or Apple TV. There should be a computer icon on your TV system that can help guide you through that process. Another way to connect your computer to TV is through an HDMI cord that runs physically from one into the other. Make sure to be on the correct Input when connecting to your HDMI cable.
Q. If I purchase now will I still be able to watch all the films?
A. Everyone that joins the Online Film Series before May 6 will have access to all 5 film screenings. Including: Hawaii, Shorts Track, Safe Inside, Love in Kilnerry, Philophobia. You will have two weeks from the date of purchase to watch all the films.
Q. After May 6 will you be doing any more online film screenings?
A. Yes! We will be sharing our next curated Online Film Series soon – so stay tuned!
