PAY IT FORWARD: Ludvina Nevarez Joins San Diego International Film Festival Board of Directors
The San Diego Film Foundation, best known for presenting the San Diego International Film Festival (Oct 15-20) is thrilled to announce that Ludvina Nevarez, is joining their Board of Directors.
San Diego International Film Festival Board Member, Ludvina Nevarez shared:
“I have been an avid friend, patron and supporter of the festival for 7 years now, and am vested in their focus on the power of perspective – of sharing films that create community dialogue on important topics. The staff at the festival is passionate and proactive in their procurement of films that both educate and entertain – and both independent filmmakers and the major studios are responsive to that passion. I look forward to working alongside the festival and continuing to grow its reach.”
CEO and Artistic Director of the San Diego International Film Festival, Tonya Mantooth shared:
“Ludvina is a force in San Diego – connecting to organizations whose mission she feels strongly about and raising awareness across the community. Her sense of justice and empathy is central in all of the work she does. She feels as strongly as we do about championing stories that effect change – and we are thankful and honored to have her on our board of directors.”
