Join our Festival virtual village and attend the Locals theater with on-demand screenings Oct 15-18th. San Diego Film Week is a celebration of film produced in America's finest city. The Best of Selections from the 2020 San Diego Film Week and the Quarantine Film Challenge will be screened as part of the Locals Theater in the virtual village. In addition, the BONV!V Cafe will feature Live Q&A's with both the Festival and Film Week Filmmakers, Panels, and Special Guests as well as the site of the Quarantine Film Challenge award announcement online event.

Quarantine Film Awards

The Quarantine Film Challenge was created as an international short film competition about or inspired by the world wide Covid-19 quarantine. In the space of three months, we received 1000 submissions from over 75 countries, proving that creativity still thrives even in a global crisis. The Quarantine Film Awards will recognize the best films of the competition with 17 awards presented by competition partners and sponsors, including the San Diego International Airport Arts Program, Panasonic Lumix, KPBS, Nelson Photo Supplies, North County Transit District, and Heartland Films.
