Culinary Cinema Ticket - $55
October 17th @ 11am | Culinary Cinema is a recipe for Sunday fun and a dream come true for foodies! The ingredients begin with a cuisine-themed movie. Afterwards everyone adjourns to the grass lawn of the Catamaran Resort. Overlooking Mission Bay, attendees will enjoy dishes inspired by six renowned Chefs. Add some nice wines and good conversation and you have a perfect Sunday afternoon.
USS Midway Screening & Reception - VIP Ticket $50
October 23 @ 6:00 PM | Join us for a pre-screening cocktail party on the USS Midway with beautiful sunset views followed by a premiere screening of a powerful military film and panel discussion with Filmmakers. This event is in partnership with RTAG, a veteran run organization that helps veterans find employment. A percentage of the ticket goes back to RTAG. The VIP Ticket will give you access to the filmmaker pre-reception event with a hosted bar and appetizers.

As of Thursday October 14, all attendees for in-person events or film screenings will be required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test OR proof of vaccination as “Fully Vaccinated”. The test must betaken within 72 hours of the event in order to enter in-person San Diego International Film Festival events.

2021 Festival In-Person Events
The San Diego International Film Festival will celebrate its 20th Anniversary with events throughout San Diego as well as online in the Festival’s Virtual Village. Thurs, Oct 14 & Fri, Oct 15 Attend Opening Night and another day of screenings will kick off the Festival at The Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park. Sat, Oct 16th, Screenings will be held all day in Balboa Park. Sun, Oct 17th attend Culinary Cinema, Movies on the Bay and screenings will take place at The Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa on Mission Bay. The following weekend on Oct 23rd, In partnership with RTAG San Diego, The Festival will present a military film and cocktail reception aboard the USS Midway in Downtown San Diego.
