Biography

Travis Aaron Wade is a Marine veteran turned actor, producer, teacher, and philanthropist, who was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Travis joined the Marine Corps after graduating from high school. He was honorably discharged in 1997. Travis then returned home to enter college, majoring in criminal law and theater. In 2005, Travis was cast in War Of The Worlds, directed by the legendary Steven Spielberg, and continued on to many other films such as The Fix, the cult-classic Pig Hunt, and more recently The Forger and Criminal Activities, with John Travolta. He has also been intimately involved with the production of the soon to be released The Last Full Measure, starring Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan, and Christopher Plummer for the last two years. As a result of his years in the entertainment industry, he was able to bring Captain Dale Dye onto this project as Senator John Holt. Travis has also appeared on many television shows such as Criminal Minds, NCIS: LA, and Alcatraz, to name a few. In 2014, Travis went on to co-produce Extinction Soup, a documentary raising awareness about the shrinking shark population. Travis is a known philanthropist, and as such has co-founded two charities to benefit both animals and veterans. He has also taught children in Vietnam, and has coached Vietnamese contestants for both Miss Vietnam and Miss Universe. In 2011, Travis was awarded a Local Hero Award for rescuing a local woman from an overturned burning vehicle.
